Note that the Puzzle Board Classroom Set, the Bulbs and Switches Kit and the Battery Experiment Kit, along with a set of multimeters, provide all the equipment necessary for a classroom set for Unit 1.

The Bulbs and Switches expander kit complements the Puzzle Boards Classroom Set, and is designed for ten groups of students. It provides you materials to add on two more activities to Unit 1. Introduction to Electricity in the Exploring Physics Curriculum App: A Battery, a Bulb and a wire, and Bulbs and Switches Lab (Part 2).

The expander kit includes:

  • A classroom set bulbs and wires (10 each), and a wire stripper
  • An assortment of twenty bulbs (sizes vary) and ten magnifying glasses
  • A collection of 20 different switches (sizes and types vary)

Batteries are not included. If your classroom does not have multimeters, we recommend purchasing digital multimeters, which are available from several vendors. Additional wire strippers sold separately.
