Our unique Puzzle Board is used for several activities in Unit 1. Introduction to Electricity of the Exploring Physics Curriculum App. Each Puzzle Board kit includes a 5-piece puzzle board, motor mount, switch, bulb, battery holder, buzzer, motor, three LEDs, photodetector, mounting materials, hardware, and alligator clip wires.

While introducing the concepts of contact points, closed circuits and the direction of flow of current, it also functions as a classroom-management tool. With the Puzzle Board kit and a multimeter, a group of two or three students can perform the following activities:

  • Electrical Materials Lab
  • The Buzzer and The Motor Lab
  • Bulbs and Switches Lab (Part 1)
  • Electrical Elements Application Lab

Simple assembly required. Batteries not included. Additional wire strippers sold separately. Digital multimeters are available from several vendors. A classroom set of 10 Puzzle Board kits is also available.
